College made possible
Today, many students question whether the cost of college is worth it, but the reality is that college continues to be a path toward competing in today’s evolving job market. A two- or four-year degree is a path toward building your future. It’s a stepping stone to entering a career you love. A building block toward economic prosperity.
The good news is that Denver taxpayers invested in a solution to make college a financial reality for Denver’s high school students. Through a ballot initiative in 2018, Denver voters approved a small sales tax that funds Prosperity Denver Fund, which in turn supports nonprofits providing scholarships to Denver students. At the heart of our work is growing the capacity of these nonprofits to offer more scholarships to more students, making college an affordable reality for everyone.
