Polica Houston
Polica Houston currently serves as Vice President of Programs for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Prior to working at BBBS, he was Chief Program Officer for Boys Hope Girls Hope Colorado (BHGHCO) and served as a high school Assistant Principal in Aurora Public Schools and Denver Public Schools for several years. In addition, Polica is an expert thought partner to numerous educators and organizations as they navigate turnaround, leadership, and culture challenges in their organizations. Polica currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Regis Jesuit High School.
A Denver native, Polica earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in higher education from the University of Denver and brings a robust background in organizational leadership, strategic planning, public speaking, and mentorship. He also has a solid background in high school athletics, having coached football for several years. Polica and his wife Biaze have two daughters, Avani and Sade.
